MFA Art in Bloom Road Show Presentation for 3/23/10 Meeting
Speaker, Diane Bonner, and Arranger, Judy Quinlin, will present the Art in Bloom Roadshow from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Highlights of this presentation will include the background to the show, as well as many past and present designs and a floral interpretations of an art object from previous shows. Diana Bonner is a Past President and Design Committee member of the Weston Garden Club, member of the Town of Weston Public Spaces Committee, MFA Associate Class of 2008, Garden Club Coordinator Art in Bloom, flower arranger/lecturer for MFA New Avenues pilot program, Flower Arranging Course faculty for the MFAA Class of 2012, currently a Senior Associate and does Special Event flowers at MFA. Judy Quinlin is a past president of the Southborough Gardeners where she has been a member for over twenty years. She is a member of the Landscape Design Council of Massachusetts, a partner in a wedding flower business, has twice participated in “Flora in Winter” at the Worcester Art Museum and is the flower chair at St. Anne Church. She was a member of the MFA Associate Class of 2008, coordinator of the Art in Bloom Bus Group and Special Tours and a flower arranger/lecturer for the MFA New Avenues pilot program. She is currently an MFA Senior Associate on the Art in Bloom Road Show Committee and does Special Event flowers at MFA.
