The Mystic Garden Club has donated funds to FRESH of New London for several years now.  In fact, we were one of the founding groups with a large initial donation when FRESH was getting started.  Saturday, September 19th, FRESH held a well attended party at it’s community garden in New London, to celebrate its 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!  Please have a look at the very informative FRESH Fall newsletter on our blog to learn more; you will be AMAZED at what this group is doing!  Jessica Cartagena was one of the FRESH teens that came to speak to our group a few years ago; she has now graduated from high school and was accepted over college graduates from top universities for one of 30 positions in the PUBLIC ALLIES class of 2010.
