GREENS SALE

2023 Plant Sale

The Mystic Garden Club Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Mystic & Noank Public Library from 9:30am – 2:30pm. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the library.

This annual event is a special event for the club because its members generously donate thriving plants from their own gardens to sell at the event.   The sale offers something for every garden.  Whether your garden is sunny or shaded, there will be a wide selection of plants available to suit your environment.  Shop at the gardener’s boutique and look for a native plant Mark your calendar to join us this spring.

Mystic Irish Parade

Thank you, all! We won Best Float 2023! We love participating in this event.

Come join us for the Mystic Irish Parade on March 19 in downtown Mystic.  The talents of the club members will be on display with this year’s entry of our Irish pub “The Cracked flower Pot.”   Beautifully decorated and landscaped, the float will feature a traditional thatched roof and a colorful array of blooms on the deck.  Members will be on hand to celebrate along the parade route.

The Mystic Garden Club was awarded Best Non-Profit for the 2022 Mystic Irish Parade.  We’re hoping to catch the judges eye again this year.

Annual Greens Sale

We wish to thank everyone who turned out for the Greens Sale in 2022.  It felt like old times with a line out the door and welcome appreciation for all the beautiful work done by our members.  We brought back our long-standing tradition of offering custom decorated wreaths, as well as a wide range of hand-tied wreaths and lush natural sprays made from fresh greens.

Our selection of table top arrangements and mixed green trees were delightful, as they were adorned with colorful bows and shells nestled among a blend of fresh cut greens.  Many of our favorite ornaments were on display, including the new “Home for the Holidays Fireplace” complete with light-up fire and the 2022 “Birdhouse by the Sea.”

The Mystic Garden Club is a non-profit organization and the profits from the Greens Sale go towards local grants and scholarships.

We hope to see you next year on December 1-2, when we return for the 2023 holiday season!
