Work begins in September and continues throughout the fall preparing for The Greens Sale. Custom made holiday items are for sale, along with fresh greens and decorated wreaths. Customers can have our designers decorate a custom wreath for them on that day. All the profits of The Greens Sale are donated back to community.

Directions: I-95 to Exit 89. (Allyn Street). Go toward Mystic. Turn left at traffic light onto New London Rd. (Rte. 1). Bottom of the hill turn right onto Water Street (Rte 215). Mystic Arts Center is ahead on the left. Ample parking is available in their lot, validated for our customers

Shortening days and cool nights are signs that the Greens Sale is not far off.
Workshops begin Monday, Sept. 14th 9:30a.m. at the Nature Center and continue there for 9 weeks with the exception of October 12th when it will be held at Barbara Ginsberg’s home.

We cannot have a successful Greens Sale without your help so please lend a hand.
Please remember to bring glue guns and scissors to all workshops

Several workshops need donations from the membership:
Seed packets – collect seeds from your garden, dry, remove from pods, store in labeled envelopes for use at a Nov. workshop

Ribbon Pins – bring large buttons and pins appropriate in becoming the centers of floral ribbon pins to the club meeting Sept. 22nd. Phyllis Ball will lead the workshop in Oct.

Potpourri – collect appropriate items from your garden such as: rose petals, lavender, lemon balm, calendula, larkspur, red geranium, blue bachelor’s buttons, tansy, scented geranium leaves, baby’s breath, nigella
